Frequently Asked Question
How to install the rear view camera?
To install the rearview camera, connect the red wire of the rear camera to the positive pole of your car's reverse lamp. Then plug the car charger into the cigarette lighter to power the car DVR. When you put your car in reverse gear, the car DVR will automatically switch to the rear camera with parking line. Then the auto reverse function will work.
Do I need to manually turn the dashcam on and off?
After connecting the dashcam to the car cigarette lighter socket, you don't need to turn it on or off manually. Every time the car starts (i.e. the cigarette lighter socket is powered), the dashcam will start automatically. The dashcam will turn off automatically when the vehicle is turned off (i.e. the cigarette lighter socket is turned off).
How to observe the working status of the dashcam?
Check the status indicator on the side of the dashcam. If the indicator is green, the dashcam is recording normally; if the indicator turns red, it means the recording is abnormal.
What memory card does the Dash Cam support?
The Dash Cam supports a standard Micro SD card (TF card) with a capacity of 16GB to 64GB and a speed of Class 10 or higher. Make sure to use high-quality storage cards from a well-known brand.
Why does the camera only shoot one minute videos?
The camera records one minute of video each time. This allows the DVR to automatically delete the oldest videos when your card is full. Longer videos could result in important videos being deleted.
